SME Initiative

Adara Foundation’s SME Initiative was launched in response to the economic impact of Covid-19 on small and medium sized businesses, and the role of the sector as key drivers of economic growth.

Our focus is on helping SMEs navigate through very challenging economic times by equipping them with the knowledge and practical tools to rethink their operational practices and adapt into stronger and better equipped businesses geared for surviving the Covid-19 pandemic and resulting global economic recession.

A 4-Part Webinar Series titled “Repositioning SMEs Post Covid-19 - A Key to Economic Growth” launched off the Foundation’s Covid-19 related SME response.  The webinar featured  exciting and enlightening sessions facilitated by SME experts and leading entrepreneurs in the African business ecosystem. Adara’s  SME Initiative will offer training and business support to entrepreneurs.

The series had Iyinoluwa Aboyeji (Future Africa), Nkemdilim Uwakwe Begho (Futuresoft), Segun Awolowo (NEPC), Osayi Alile (ACT Foundation), Ifeyinwa Ighodalo (DO.II), Chijioke Dozie (Carbon), Carolyne Gathinji (McKinsey) and many  others on its panels.
